We nurture spiritual growth through workshops, teaching and community events. PILGRIMAGE THE STRENGHT ON FAITH JOURNEY Catholics for Catholics, Inc (CFC, INC) is a non-profit organization, that has been very resourceful in providing scholarship in education, training, health care and actively promoting medical outreach. It also has youth formation program, and community outreach. The program is open to all persons, both Christians and non-Christians. This program is in partnership with MAGDALA to promote ‘HOSPITALITY TOGETHER’ – One Step Closer. What is pilgrimage? Pilgrimage is a sacred journey to discover places or people or things of interest which had existed before us and continues to be in existence. Pilgrimage is important to our life in the sense that beyond tourism it transforms faith, it helps us to connect with the divine and to find spiritual renewal and togetherness. It is very resourceful in deepening our faith, connecting with spiritual and cultural heritage of the saints and finding fulfilment in God. Pilgrimage may be seen as an intentional journey in response to the growth of the Spirit, the desire to deepen our knowledge of God or of the self, through sightseeing, calming our restlessness or embarking on a vacation. As we embark on pilgrimage, the end is to find renewal, through the deeply spiritual encounter. Pilgrimage Centers are places of transformation. It is a journey that gives us opportunity to discover ourselves in a different way; to spend some time reflecting on our journey of life, our dedication and experience God or nature from a different perspective. The story of the saints may lead us to think of our relationship with one another, or also be an avenue of spiritual rejuvenation. CFC, INC desire to enhance individual faith formation as one of the causes, has evolved into a plan to organize a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, to the place of birth of Mary Magdalene, to deepen spiritual growth, and strengthen the journey of togetherness and to understand more the role of women in the church, in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene. She is a model of witness to the Resurrection, devotion to God and discipleship, she is the apostle to the apostles, and a model that reshape the understanding of human relationship and leadership. The journey is a good way of building Interfaith and intercultural dialogue among people of diverse faith, such as; Christians of other traditions, Muslims, protestants and Orthodox faith, as a way of fostering unity, meeting people and exchanging ideas. The pilgrimage journey will make a social impact by fostering shared and communal experiences among travelers, it will strengthen their bonds as well. Pilgrims from diverse nations gather at these sites, reinforcing a sense of unity among people. Pilgrimage to Jerusalem, will help pilgrims to see Mary Magdalene as a symbol of faith, a steadfast woman, an inspiration of transformation, a witness to the resurrection and a close follower of Jesus. Pilgrimage of this kind will be transforming, as people in every religious or faith affiliation, in line with this tradition will foster personal reunion with God. It will be a time to experience peace, serenity and the holiness of God in Places where people have experienced God in a unique way. I urge all to make this pilgrimage to Jerusalem because it promises to be a worthwhile experience.
