CFC INC has helped me significantly. Right from the beginning, the program was inspirational and an affirmation of its mission-” committed to providing academic and career development opportunities for young people. I was given the opportunity to develop myself better than any self- help book had done, both in personal and educational experiences. The classes I took helped me get to where I am today, I was able to explore multiple majors and find the right fit for myself while simultaneously gaining knowledge. I also had the opportunity to get rid of my crippling social anxiety. Beforehand, I wasn’t able to communicate with others but after living with my peers, who were quite understanding of my situation, I now have more social networking skills. I also had the privilege to work multiple jobs in college, bulking up my resume and moving higher up in the job market. CFC INC offered me a steady and hands-on approach to life and for that privilege, I am thankful.
